Terms of Service

Welcome to Caddio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Caddio mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Caddio LLC ("Caddio," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Caddio, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at tony@caddio.app.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Caddio. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 13 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you're under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

  1. What Caddio Is

Caddio is a companion app for golfers who use launch monitors. It reads launch monitor data through screenshots, surfaces patterns in your shot data, and provides plain-language observations about your performance.


Caddio is designed to help you understand your data better. It is not a coaching service. Caddio does not provide swing instruction, technique advice, or professional golf coaching. Any observations or insights provided by the Service are intended to be informational and observational only.


You are responsible for how you interpret and apply any information from Caddio. We recommend consulting with a qualified golf professional for swing instruction and technique guidance.

  1. Your Account

To use Caddio, you'll sign in using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account

  • Keep your account credentials secure

  • Notify us immediately at tony@caddio.app if you believe your account has been compromised

  • Be responsible for all activity that happens under your account

You may only create one account per person. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or entity.

4. Beta Status

Caddio is currently in beta. This means:

  • Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice

  • The Service may experience downtime, bugs, or unexpected behavior

  • Data accuracy depends on factors including screenshot quality, launch monitor compatibility, and ongoing improvements to our OCR and AI systems

  • We make no guarantees about the Service's availability, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose during the beta period

You acknowledge that you are using a pre-release product and agree to provide feedback to help us improve.

  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

  • Upload or transmit any content that contains viruses, malware, or other malicious code

  • Use the Service to harass, harm, or threaten others

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or any data extracted from it without our written permission

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service

  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms.

  1. Your Content

When you upload screenshots or other data to Caddio, you retain ownership of that content. However, by uploading it, you grant Caddio a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

This includes:

  • Processing screenshots through OCR to extract shot data

  • Storing screenshots and extracted data in your account

  • Using your data to generate observations and insights for your account

  • Improving our OCR accuracy and AI systems in aggregate (we do not share your individual data with third parties for training purposes, and Anthropic does not train its models on Caddio data, as described in our Privacy Policy)

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you share with Caddio and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.

  1. Our Intellectual Property

Caddio, including the app, its design, code, branding, name, logo, and all related materials, is owned by Caddio LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Caddio's name, logo, or other branding without our prior written consent.

  1. Pricing and Payments

Caddio is currently free to use during the beta period. We may introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do, we will notify you in advance and you will have the option to continue using the free tier (if available) or subscribe. Any future paid plans will be subject to additional terms specific to those plans.

  1. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caddio disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement

  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data, observations, or insights provided by the Service

Caddio is a tool to help you understand your launch monitor data. It is not a substitute for professional golf instruction, coaching, or medical advice. Any decisions you make about your golf game, equipment, or physical activity based on Caddio are your own responsibility.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caddio LLC and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.


In no event shall Caddio's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid Caddio in the past twelve months, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).


Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

  1. Termination

You may stop using Caddio and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.


Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.


Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Caddio regarding the Service.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice
